Dates for Puppy Classes and Obedience Training
Training dates for 2010 are as follows. Please note that we train
in six week blocks and the date mentioned is for the first week of the
block. Dates shown are for the week commencing ..., so if you train on
a Monday it will be the date stated, but if you train on a Tuesday or
Wednesday it will be the corresponding date thereafter!

Tuesday 9th March 2010Dog of the Year LeagueWe will be running an in-house agility league this year in two categories Grade 1-2 dogs and Grade 3-4 dogs. Please see the explanation on the noticeboard. It will run from 1st January until December and you can claim points for all shows and even matches. Please email me if you would like a copy of the details.
Thursday 24th June 20102 x 2 Weave TrainingWe'll be starting sessions from Tuesday, 13 July at our house. The sessions will be reasonably short - length will depend on number of dogs attending. Price £1.50 per session. We should have completed training by end July!
Afternoon sessions at 2 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Evening sessions at 7 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (no session 12 July).

Mid Cornwall: Debbie and Sandy 10th G3-5A; Selina and Grace 3rd G1J; Vernon 4th in POD G1-7 Pairs and CR for Grace and Cleo in Pairs.
Cornwall Agility Club: several clear rounds for Debbie and Sandy and Eve and Sophie and 2nd for Kim and Toby in the fun steeplechase class.

Sunday 18th July 2010South Devon Agility ShowWell, I must say that Selina and Vernon have had a very good weekend! What with 2nd yesterday and winning G1 Jumping today!! This is Vernon's second jumping win so he only needs one more win to go up a grade! Very well done!

Sunday 1st August 2010Dissect and Run the CourseOpen to dogs confident on all equipment already in training with us. There will be two courses to work on – a jumping course and an agility course. We will set up the courses and help you learn to walk a course objectively before having a chance to run the course with your dog. You will have the opportunity to run each course twice.

Wednesday 4th August 2010Agility Foundation Classes -FULLWant to start the right way? Build the foundations first!
These sessions are open to all - you do not need to already be training with us - and are aimed at young dogs from 12 weeks onwards, inexperienced dogs or even competing dogs, where the foundation needs to be reinforced. We will be teaching focus, motivation and drive, how to form a strong bond, startline waits, body awareness and control, directional commands and body language. Please note - we will not be teaching your dog to jump!
04 and 11 August 7-8.30 pm at Polean Farm, Pelynt
£3.00 per session or £5.00 for both.

Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes as surface is sand and rubber mix. Bring a drink for yourself, great treats and a toy your dog loves. Please leave your dog in the car and come into the indoor school to register and a briefing before we start.
