Note to puppy owners:
Have you heard of the 5 minute rule (well it’s more of a guideline really)?
Basically it is helpful to remind you not to walk your pup for too long as this can cause damage as their bones are soft and growth plates still open.
So, 5 minutes per month + 5. This means if your pup is 3 months = maximum 20 minutes, if 5 months maximum 30 minutes etc.
Obviously we realise that people sometimes find their pups a little ‘hyper’! You are much better off training and playing stimulating games at home or in the garden. These activities will tire your pup through the mental activity and you benefit from a better trained pet! See our Banish the Boredom Games.

Here are a few ideas for games you can play indoors with your dog – could be quite useful, especially in bad weather!
